A full house length hardwood timber deck was constructed to create a seamless outdoor extension of the home, complete with an insulated panel flyover roof, multiple ceiling fans, and integrated downlighting for year-round use. Internally, the kitchen and living areas were reconfigured to connect naturally with the new outdoor space, delivering a cohesive indoor-outdoor flow suited to Brisbane’s subtropical lifestyle and everyday entertaining.

Project Details
This project was about “unlocking potential.” This classic Toowong Queenslander had the character but lacked the functional square footage for a growing modern family. We took it from a single-level cottage to a sprawling multi-level estate.
The Scope of Work
Raise & Relocate: The entire structure was lifted and precision-positioned to maximize the block’s footprint.
Lower Level Construction: Building in underneath to create a brand-new level of living, including a double garage and expansive utility spaces.
Full Internal Overhaul: A complete “strip back” renovation featuring a high-set architectural staircase, luxury kitchen, and seamless extension.
